Our Top 10 Moments from 2019

Here’s a look into our company’s 10 most notable milestones of 2019:

1.) Raising our Series A round and tripling the size of our team

In June 2019, we raised our $8M Series A round from leading investors including Bow Capital, Initialized Capital, Susa Ventures, and Slack Fund.

“We tripled the size of our team (and grew out of 3 offices!). Each new person has brought a unique level of experience and insight that has allowed us to build a better product and company.” – Percia Safar

2.) Launching WorkRamp for Support

WorkRamp for Support is a collection of enablement and training features designed specifically for support teams in mind. With integrations like WorkRamp for Zendesk and features like Certifications which helps reps codify technical expertise, support teams are able to increase efficiency and drive higher levels of customer satisfaction. 3.) Emerging as an industry leader in Sales Enablement & Corporate LMS Software

We’re proud to be named a category leader in Sales Enablement Software on G2 Crowd and #1 on the momentum grid for Corporate LMS Software— confirming our commitment to deliver innovative solutions to help companies provide stellar onboarding, training and continuous learning experiences, no matter the function. In addition, we’ve also been recognized as a High Performer in Sales Training & Onboarding and Sales Coaching.

“I would say how easy it was to start using the system and deploying it to our teams. With no learning curve at all, we were able to create multiple guides to help onboard and train our team. We used their text editor, testing, and survey features to deliver a comprehensive training program for our organization. The team members that were trained reported a very positive learning experience, due to the ease of use of WorkRamp. We also thought they had great support—we were able to chat with their support team and receive responses in real-time.” – Christina S, Enablement Trainer

4.) Introducing our enablement community

It’s no secret that we take immense pride in our #CustomersFirst attitude. In the beginning of 2019, we decided to build a community around our customers and invest in amplifying the voice of the broader enablement space. We’ve hosted mini roadshows, video interview series, executive dinners and more– with our customers at the heart of every motion. Our community brings decades of combined experiences in training, onboarding and enablement across industries, and we’re excited to see it continue to flourish in 2020.

5.) Deepening relationships with thought leaders in our industry

Some of our best learnings have come from our customers. Crucial to our company’s mission is creating a culture of knowledge sharing. With that in mind, we launched a video interview series to amplify our customers’ voices, learnings, best practices, and experience. Check out our interviews with Divvy, Intercom, and Fivetran.

6.) Enhancing our enterprise features

For large, complex Enterprise rollouts we invested in functionality like enhanced admin permissions and controls, self-serve SSO for easier company-wide accessibility, and auto user sync (SCIM) to simplify provisioning and make managing a large contract feasible.

With more controls, every employee gets tailored information and a seamless learning experience – no matter how large the company.

7.) Partnering with industry leaders in enablement

We think our product is pretty cool, and we want to share more of it with the world. This is why we’re partnering with industry influencers like Modern Sales Pros, SalesEnablement. PRO and JBarrows Training to showcase our product with the larger enablement community. We’re excited to co-create digital and live experiences so that more folks can learn about how to build kickass enablement programs on our platform. Interested in what we’re doing next? 8.) Launching our professional services program

We know that strong onboarding and training programs also require exceptional content. That’s why we launched a collaborative model for developing corporate training programs where we partner with clients to deliver best-in-class content. Since we have to opportunity to work and learn from partnering with so many incredible enablement teams, we’re able to transfer those best practices and learnings, so that everyone in the WorkRamp community benefits!

9.) Building out our an enhanced learner experience

We’re committed to creating the best user interface (UI) in the market for corporate training. We want your users to love learning and actually enjoy going into the WorkRamp platform. That’s why we’ve invested heavily in gamification features and a brand new sleek interface. We built out features like: question hints, correct answer explanations, checklists, flip cards, and callouts from the trainer – so you know that your learners are always engaged.

10.) Bringing WorkRamp into wherever you work with native partner integrations

We know your teams are using more tools than ever and that context switching between these tools causes friction. That’s why we invested in bringing onboarding, training, and learning directly to your employees within the context of their work. Our integrations deliver crucial information to employees without leaving the apps that they’re already using, including Slack, Guru, and Zendesk.

Looking forward to 2020…

In 2019, we enhanced our platform to create unparalleled, engaging experiences for employees and companies. We were lucky to help companies overcome some of their biggest challenges – scaling from a few hundred to ten thousand employees, completely reversing low employee retention rates, and decreasing ramp time by 75%. We can’t wait to continue this growth into 2020 and beyond!
